Virex can be updated to detect and repair new viruses by applying Virus Update files. New viruses are discovered daily, so it is important to update Virex frequently. Consult the Virex UserΓÇÖs Guide or contact Network Associates, Inc. <http://www.nai.com> for information on obtaining the latest Virus Update file for Virex.
Before applying a Virus Update, please read the associated Read Me file for any special instructions or warnings. Update Virex by double-clicking the Virus Update file, or by dragging the Virus Update file icon onto the Virex application icon. Virex will be launched if it is not already running, and the Virus Update will be applied. This procedure also automatically updates the Virex Control Panel, if you have previously installed it.
